Wild Flowers
Nature has the perfect flower garden in wild flowers. The colourful blooms along the
roadside make your drive really beautiful as you gaze in wonder at the colors Mother
Nature uses to dress the world. Dazzling arrays of pinks, blues, yellow, purples and all
the colors of the rainbow tend to make your day a little brighter.
Depending on where you live, the flowers that grow wild may be different than in other
locations. The climate has a lot to do flowers because some are hardy and are able to
withstand colder temperatures. You would not, for example, expect to find the Western
Bleeding Heart growing wild in the fields of northern Canada.
Having wildflowers in small beds and pots in your garden will help add color and at the
same time helps you to tame them. Since these flowers tend to spread quite easily, you do
need some measure on containment, so they won't take over all the other flowers and
make your garden seem like a jumble of plants.
With the many packages of seeds you can get for these flowers, you can have patches of
them growing wherever you wish. If you use a packet of seeds in every color of the
rainbow, then you will have a delightful garden. These plants are perennials, of course,
growing as they do in the wild, so once you plant them, you won't have to reseed.
Since the flowers growing in the wild are Nature's way of attracting butterflies and birds,
with these growing in your garden, you will also be able to have sights other than the
colors of the plants. You might want to consider putting in a birdhouse or two to make
sure the birds are fed as well.
