Garden Flowers
There is nothing as pretty as a sea of garden flowers and you can have this right in your own
back yard. You can mix and match and plant flowers of every kind. Go wild and have a wild
garden. Just take the hint from nature - it never plans on where anything grows and how much
more beautiful can you get than what nature produces. This sounds heavenly, but most of us will
not take this route. Rather we opt for the more planned garden, where we can plant all our tall
flowers in the back row and slowly bring to the front those that are shorter so they can be viewed
better.
It would be wonderful to have that wild garden, where trees tower above all. With a small lily
pond in a corner, a hammock tied between the trees or a bench with a small waterfall nearby and
a sea of flowers all around, you will have a place all you own filling your senses with their sweet
perfume. There would also be a very positive side to this and that is there would be very little
maintenance. You could spend more time enjoying your flowers than working on them to make
them perfect. It would be an afternoon delight to stroll through your sea of flowers and stretch
out on the bench with a favorite book as the breeze gently plays with your hair and dances
around your face. Or just sit there and contemplate as you watch the beautiful butterflies move
from blossom to blossom. But it's just a dream, as most of us would not take the chance of
having a real wild garden. But doesn't this make you wonder just how much we're missing out
on?
To come back to reality, we will tend our nice little plots of flowers, making sure that they have
no weeds and spend time watering and pampering them to get them to grow just right. We will
work and dream of that wild garden, as we move one plant here and another there, but we will
never really think it is possible to really have the garden of our dreams.
