Fresh Flower Delivery
When you order flowers, you want to make certain that you get a fresh flower delivery. There are
ways that you can try to make sure this happens. The first thing you have to do is check out the
florist you intend to use. See if he/she has a lot of experience in the business, ask friends and
relatives if they have used a flower service in the past and how satisfied they were with them, or
go online and do your homework on some of the sites that are listed there.
It is very important that you inquire about the delivery time. If you want same day delivery then
that is one step to making sure your flowers will get there in good condition. We don't know
what takes place before the arrangement is made up so you need to look into the amount of
flowers that leaves the store in a day. If they are extremely busy, it is unlikely that your flowers
will be old ones as the volume of business almost assures fresh flowers.
If the store is small and not so busy, then the risk of getting flowers that are not going to last very
long increases. If they do not have a large inventory turn over, you can be sure they will try to
save where they can and that means preserving their flowers for as long as they can. When your
flowers arrive from a place like this, they may look lovely but may be gone within two days,
regardless of what you do to care for them.
Most florists on today's market want their flowers to be fresh and will do everything they can to
insure that they are. However, there is always one that tries to work a fast one on you and give
you old flowers in the bouquet. They are only defeating themselves because then you will not
use that florist again. If they insist on putting out a bad product the word will soon get around
and they will not be in business for long.
