Flower Names

Since the beginning of time we have been delighted and intrigued by flowers and there are so many varieties of flower names. One of the most popular is the rose, and with the rose comes a fine array of names to suit each one such as the Angel Face Rose, that is mauve in color and very fragrant. Then there is a hybrid tea rose that is called Bewitched, which is light pink in color and fragrant. Bride's Dream is also a hybrid tea rose that is light pink, while a rose called Captivation is miniature and dark crimson red in color. Careless love is a hybrid tea rose and is also light pink in color. This rose is also very fragrant. The Cherish Rose is orange pink as is the Floribunda, while the Crackling Fire is miniature and coppery orange. Crazy For You is a multi colored rose and holds such colors as scarlet red, cream, pink, yellow, blotches and stripes, and is also fragrant.

The Darling Flame is mandarin red and has a fragrance. This would make a nice flower for the patio or a window box. A rose called Dearest is a rosy salmon pink. Then we have the Double Delight, which is very fragrant and comes in the color of a red blend with a cream center. This is also a hybrid tea.

The rose called Especially For You is a mimosa yellow with a pink tinge. This rose is very fragrant and is a hybrid tea. Eternally Yours comes in the color of red with white edges and silver on the reverse side. It is fragrant and is a hybrid tea.

So as you can see there are many different kinds of roses and each with its own name. When describing the colors of some of them, it brings to mind ice cream that is mixed with different flavors. Whatever it brings to mind, each of these flowers bring their own kind of beauty that will bring you a feeling that is additive to the gardener.
