Bridal Bouquets

When thinking of bridal bouquets, you do have a few options. If you're not into making them yourself, then the best thing to take the worry and fuss out of it is to have a florist design and make it for you. It will be a bit of a challenge choosing the right florist to do this, so you better get prepared for a bit of work even before you meet with them.

If you don't have a florist designer that you already know, then there are some things you need to know. First talk to your friends, most especially the ones who are married. Ask them who they used and how they were. You can also go on the Internet to get some ideas or even look in the phone book. Go to bridal shows to get some really good idea of what you want. When you start with the florist, visit at least three different ones. When you visit the shops look around at their arrangements and see if you like them. Notice if the flowers are kept fresh and notice if the shop is clean and well organized. This can give you some hint of what the business is like.

Ask the florist for pictures of previous work he/she has done or show you a bridal bouquet from a wedding they are doing or one that they will be doing. When you have decided on which florist will be good for your needs, there are a few things you should do before you pass over the order such as bring a piece of material from the bridesmaid's dresses, bring pictures of bouquets that you like, tell them the kind of container that you would like, or anything else that will influence the outcome of your bouquet to what you are expecting. It matters a great deal that you and your florist are on the same wave length, such as is the florist open to your own ideas or does he/she want to go with ideas of their own. A good florist should be receptive to what you want - after all it is your day.
