Black and white Roses
The only place you will see a truly black and white rose is in the clip arts that are offered
in artist galleries all over the world. Of course this does not apply so much to the white
rose as they are in existence, but you will not find a truly black rose. The closest you will
come to a black rose is the rose that is so deeply crimson red that it appears to be black or
the other option is to dry them out and dye them. The rose that is the deepest in this color
of black is the Rosa Black magic. The white rose is quite common and can be grown
anywhere that the climate is agreeable. The white rose signifies purity and everything
that's good, So what does the black rose signify?
Many say that the black rose signifies death and have been used on a few occasions to be
sent as a reminder of the distaste that one person has for another. A black rose can be
used to show revenge towards another in some situations, but there is another aspect of
the meaning of the black rose such as the death of an old habit that someone has finally
overcome. So in reality it would signify the rebirth or a new start.
Unless the person you're sending the black rose to has a wonderful sense of humor, it is
best to stay away from the black rose. The interpretation of the black rose is just not
defined enough to be bold enough to send to anyone. You could end up minus a life long
friend with the gift of a black rose or you could lose someone near and dear to your heart.
So don't get over confidant with the black rose. The safest way to handle a black rose is
not to handle them at all. Of course the white rose can be sent to anyone and is used on
many occasions such as weddings, baptisms, graduations and many other special
occasions where white flowers would just thrill the one that is receiving them. If you
place a black rose amongst the white ones and you have written a recipe for disaster.
